I am currently doing my Masters of Marketing Communications at the University of Melbourne. Before this, I completed my 3-year Bachelor of Arts degree, where I’ve acquired many of my critical analytical skills.
Among creating this website for a university project, I also started teaching myself how to code. I’m a totally nerdy, yet very contoured, human.
Contoured? What’s that? Oh, yeah, I’m SUPER into the makeup and beauty industries.
I am an employee at Mecca Maxima, and a fully-qualified freelance makeup artist.
I have completed my Certificate III in Makeup at Box Hill Institute. There, I’ve also acquired qualifications in airbrushed makeup, spray tanning, eyebrow waxing, manicures and pedicures, and eyelash and eyebrow tinting services.
I also completed subjects related to managing and monitoring small businesses, researching beauty industry information, and learning to work hygienically and safely; among others.
But I also love dumb YouTuber gossip and I spend a lot of my time creating and editing content for my social media platforms.
My main platform is my Instagram page – @gallyglam – and I have a client Facebook page called ‘Gal Krohn Makeup Artist.’ I also run my own YouTube Channel targeting both internal and external beauty.
My brand name, ‘gallyglam,’ is a play-on-words of my name, Gal, paired with the words glamour/glamorous, as ‘glam.’
